| International: China has stated that it will provide comprehensive guidance over the next five years for the healthy development of emerging human rights, according to the country’s State Council Information Office.
A report published on Thursday said that the National Human Rights Action Plan of China (2026–2030) was released at the opening ceremony of the 2026 Global Human Rights Governance Forum. The plan outlines China’s policy framework for the protection and development of human rights over the next five years.
The action plan places special emphasis on building a more advanced digital and intelligent lifestyle. It states that digital and intelligent technologies, as well as data as a factor of production, will be more effectively utilised to improve people’s quality of life and enhance overall well-being.
It also highlights the strengthening of corporate responsibility in the field of human rights. This includes improving the evaluation system for corporate social responsibility in government procurement and ensuring necessary training and support for relevant enterprises.
