itel offers 180-day replacement warranty for feature phones ahead of Eid-ul-Adha
  24, May, 2026, 8:06:53:PM

Desk Report: itel has launched a 180-day replacement warranty for its feature phone lineup in Bangladesh, giving budget phone users faster recourse for manufacturing defects during the first six months of purchase.

The initiative, announced ahead of Eid-ul-Adha, applies to all itel feature phones bought from May 20, 2026 onward. Under the new policy, customers who encounter qualifying mechanical or manufacturing issues within 180 days can receive a brand-new handset instead of going through standard repairs at service centers.

Covered issues include power problems, display and charging faults, speaker or microphone malfunction, SIM and network issues, and keypad defects. To claim a replacement, customers must visit any Carlcare Service Centre with the faulty phone, original purchase receipt, and box. Approved claims will be processed with same-day handset replacement.

After the 180-day replacement window, devices will continue to be covered under itel’s standard 1-year warranty through Carlcare, which handles regular repairs from day 181 through the first year.

The program excludes damage caused by physical impact, water, unauthorized repairs, and devices with tampered seals or mismatched IMEI numbers.

itel said the move is aimed at simplifying after-sales support for feature phone users in Bangladesh’s budget segment, where convenience and reliability are key concerns.

“Through the new 180-Day Replacement Warranty, itel aims to give feature phone users more confidence and dependable support in their everyday communication needs,” the company stated.

The brand has positioned itself as a trusted name in Bangladesh’s entry-level mobile market, and the Eid-ul-Adha initiative extends its push to make mobile ownership more accessible and worry-free.

Customers seeking more details can contact their nearest Carlcare Service Centre or visit itel’s official Bangladesh website at http://itel-life.com/bd.
