Two people were killed and four others injured early Tuesday when a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided with a motorcycle in Narikelbag area of Keraniganj upazila, Dhaka.

The dead were identified as Nayan, 25, a Bangladeshi expatriate recently returned from Saudi Arabia, from Sonakanda village, and Khairul Islam, 38, son of Yunus from Keraniganj area.

According to Inspector Faruk, in-charge of the Dhaka Medical College and Hospital (DMCH) police camp, the accident took place around 2:30 am when the auto-rickshaw struck the motorcycle, injuring six people.

All of the injured were rushed to DMCH, where doctors declared Nayan and Khairul dead. The condition of the remaining four injured is yet to be disclosed.
