The Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2024 and 2025 of Bangladesh Foodstuff Importers and Suppliers Association (BAFISA) was held successfully and smoothly on 14 June 2026 at the Celebrity Convention Hall in Gulshan, Dhaka. The meeting was chaired by BAFISA President Mohammad Borhan E-Sultan and was attended by Malaysian High Commissioner H.E. Mohd Shuhada Osman as the chief guest and Trade Commissioner of MATRADE One Ahmad Tarmiji One Idris as the special guest.

The annual activity report and audited financial report for the years 2024 and 2025 were unanimously approved in the meeting. In addition, the budget for 2026, the appointment of auditors and their remuneration were approved. Various important decisions were taken to improve member services, progress in the food import and supply sector, and expand international trade relations.

As part of the program, honoring international guests, cultural performances, cake cutting, and an open exchange of views with the participation of members were held. A total of 165 members were present at the meeting.
