| A total of 430 Bangladeshi nationals stranded in Qatar due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East have safely returned home.
A special Qatar Airways flight carrying the passengers landed at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at approximately 7:15 PM on Friday.
Executive Director of the airport, Group Captain SM Ragib Samad, confirmed the arrival to journalists.
He stated that the returning Bangladeshis included both transit passengers and embassy staff.
“They had been unable to return home due to flight cancellations. The Bangladesh government, in coordination with Qatari authorities, arranged the special flight to bring them back safely,” Ragib Samad added.
