| Special Correspondent: The annual prize giving ceremony of Ahsanul Hikmah Madrasah, a renowned educational institution located in Dhaka`s Demra area, was held on Saturday at 10 am in a disciplined and festive atmosphere. The venue was vibrant with colorful balloons and floral decorations. The event was attended by students, guardians, teachers, and dignitaries from various professions.
The ceremony was attended by prominent businessman Mr. Shahjahan Khan as the chief guest. The event was presided over by the institution`s chairman, Md. Abdul Alim. Special guests included Mohammad Abu Hanif, Permanent Member of the National Press Club and Executive Member of Bangladesh Federal Journalists Union-BFUJ, A.N.M. Helaluddin, Vice-Principal of Misbahul Ulum Kamil Madrasah; Mawlana Mujahidul Islam, a prominent Islamic scholar; and Md. Pasha.
The event began with a welcome speech by the madrasah`s principal, Abu Bakar Siddique Al Azhari. The institution`s director, Mohammad Abdur Rahman, presented a special bulletin.
In his speech, the chief guest, Mr. Shahjahan Khan, said, "Madrasah education plays a vital role in producing skilled and humane individuals by integrating modern education with moral and religious values. Ahsanul Hikmah Madrasah is doing commendable work towards this goal."
The special guests emphasized the importance of equipping students with modern education alongside Islamic education and praised the madrasah`s overall progress.
During the ceremony, prizes, certificates, and honors were awarded to students who achieved outstanding results in the annual exams and won sports and cultural competitions. The event was made more meaningful with Quran recitation, Naat-e-Rasul (SAW), and a short performance by the students.
The event concluded with a dua and monajat, wishing a bright future for the country, nation, and students.
