Inflow of remittances witnessed a year-on-year growth of 22.3%, reaching $19,759 million during the period from July 1 to February 2 of the fiscal year 2025-26, according to the latest data from Bangladesh Bank (BB).

Last fiscal year, during the same period, the country`s remittance inflow was $16,159 million.

During the first two days of February of the current fiscal year, expatriates sent remittances of $326 million, which was $197 million during the same days of the previous fiscal year.
