Staff Correspondent: Farida Yasmin and Elias Khan were elected president and general secretary of the National Press Club in the election of the management committee of the organisation on Thursday for next two years.

Hasan Hafiz was elected senior vice-president, Rezwanul Haq Raja vice-president, Mainul Alam and M Ashraf Ali joint secretaries and Shahed Chowdhury treasurer in the election held in a festive manner on the Press Club premises.

Ayub Bhuiyan, Rezanur Rahman, Kazi Rawnak Hossain, Zahiduzzaman Faruk, Shahnaj Begum Polly, Syed Abdal Ahmed, Shahnaj Siddiqui Soma, Vanu Ranjan Chakraborty, Rahman Mustafiz and Bakhtiar Rana were elected members of the committee.
