| (BSS) - Gono Odhikar Pasidhad candidate Md Nurul Haque has unofficially secured victory in the Patuakhali-3 constituency of the 13th National Parliamentary Election.
Haque received a total of 97,323 votes, comfortably defeating his closest rival, independent candidate Md Hasan Mamun secured 81,361 votes.
The information was formally announced by Akhtar Ahmed, senior secretary of the Election Commission of Bangladesh, during a press briefing today at the Result Collection and Dissemination Centre at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital`s Agargaon.
