| As the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) nears an absolute majority in the 13th National Parliamentary Election, Party Chairman Tarique Rahman has issued a set of directives for leaders and activists at all levels.
On the cusp of a historic victory, he has instructed followers to observe a day of special prayers and supplications (Doa and Munajat) after the Jummah prayers on Friday (February 13).
In a statement released late Thursday (February 12), Tarique Rahman also strictly prohibited the holding of any victory processions.
The statement, signed by the BNP Chairman’s Press Secretary Saleh Shibli, called for nationwide special prayers to express gratitude to Almighty Allah.
The directive emphasizes that no victory rallies, meetings, or public gatherings should be organized to mark the election results.
Through this message, the party leadership urged activists to maintain a peaceful and disciplined presence across the country./
