Following the results of the 2025 Dhaka University Central Students` Union (DUCSU) and hall union elections, Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir has announced a two-day programme to mark the occasion.

The announcement came through an official statement issued on Wednesday (10 September) by Shibir’s central president Zahidul Islam.

In the statement, Zahidul said, “Alhamdulillah. By the infinite mercy of Almighty Allah, the students of Dhaka University are the true victors through the success of the Shibir-supported `United Students’ Alliance` in the DUCSU election. On behalf of Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir, I extend heartfelt greetings and congratulations to all those elected, whether from panels or as independents.”

He added, “May Allah grant the elected representatives the strength and sincerity to uphold the trust placed in them by 40,000 students of Dhaka University. Ameen.”

To commemorate what they termed a "historic student victory," Shibir has outlined the following two-day programme:

Special prayers of gratitude and Shabbedari (night worship).

Grave visits of martyrs, and meetings with the families of martyrs and injured activists

Zahidul further urged all metropolitan, university, city, and district units of the organization to implement the programme in line with central directives.

"In light of the central directive, I am calling on all metropolitan, university, city and district branches of Chhatra Shibir to implement this program. I also request you to refrain from organizing any kind of joy procession, procession or rally. May Allah accept all our activities for His religion, Amen", He said.
