SSC equivalent exams results: Pass Rate 68.45%, 1.39 lakh secure GPA-5Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published

The results of this year’s Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations have been published, with a combined pass rate of 68.45 percent across the country.

A total of 139,032 students achieved the highest grade of GPA-5.

The results were announced at a press conference held on Thursday (10 July) at the conference room of the Dhaka Education Board.

Professor Khondoker Ehsanul Kabir, Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board and President of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, formally declared the results.

According to the official data presented, the SSC exams under the nine general education boards recorded a pass rate of 68.04 percent. In this category, 125,018 students secured GPA-5.

In the Dakhil examinations conducted by the Madrasah Education Board, the pass rate stood at 68.09 percent, with 9,066 students obtaining GPA-5.

The Technical Education Board reported the highest pass rate among all streams at 73.63 percent. A total of 4,948 students from the technical stream achieved GPA-5.

The examinations began on 10 April and continued with written tests concluding on 13 May, followed by practical examinations held between 15 and 22 May.

A total of 1,928,181 students registered for the SSC and equivalent exams under all boards. Among them, 1,490,142 candidates appeared under the nine general education boards, comprising 701,538 male and 788,604 female students. The exams were held across 2,291 centres and 18,084 institutions.

Under the Madrasah Education Board, 294,726 students took part, including 150,893 male and 143,833 female candidates. These exams were conducted in 725 centres across 9,063 institutions.

The Bangladesh Technical Education Board recorded 143,313 examinees this year, with 108,385 male and 34,928 female candidates appearing for the exams.

Education officials said students can access their results online and via SMS.
