Corona Fighter Engineer Mahbub Alam and Humanitarian Activities of Mirpur Club

Press Release: Mirpur Club has carried out exceptional activities in the Corona crisis. The club has launched MCL Virtual Hospital, an online medical service center. Engineer Mahbub Alam, the founding president of Mirpur Club, said that 45 local and foreign doctors, 40 nurses and midwives and 10 call center agents are working in this virtual hospital.

Mahbub Alam said that when the corona virus infection started in the country, the general public was not getting medical services even after visiting many hospitals; Such images are everyday. Everyone is being deprived of medical services as they cannot afford private hospitals. The establishment of this virtual hospital to ensure uninterrupted medical services for the common man. Engineer Mahbub said that this hospital will be kept open in the future as well. The virtual hospital is currently offering online medical advice, pathology services and home delivery of medical equipment including oxygen. Founder Engineer Mahbub Alam said, they are providing medical equipment at affordable prices. These are being provided by adding 10 percent service charge to the purchase price. Arrangements will be made to cover the medical expenses from the zakat fund of Mirpur Club for those who cannot afford to pay the medical expenses. This assistance has been provided since mid-March. Engineer Mahbub, the club`s founder, said food aid was provided to at least 200 families every week. This assistance will continue during the Corona crisis, said Engineer Mahbub. In addition to providing food assistance, MCL has taken the initiative to make the club an entrepreneur for those who are unemployed and have lost income. Engineer Mahbub said Mirpur Club is working to develop 10,000 people as entrepreneurs. Of these, 200 unemployed have been trained. Arrangements are being made to create an income path, said the founding president of Mirpur Club. Mirpur Club Limited was established on 26 August 2018. Founder of the club is the renowned  Games Creator Engineer Mahbub Alam. The club is also known as Mirpur Professional and Entrepreneur Club Limited.
